Refund policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
Study with ExamCup, and if you still don't pass your exam, we'll refund your purchase in full. The rules below keep the guarantee fair and quick to check: we can see from your account how you practised, so we don't need anything beyond your exam result.
Pass guarantee
You get a full refund of the price you paid for an exam ($19.99 for 3 months of access) if all of these are true:
- You bought full access to that exam and took the real exam while your access was active.
- Before the exam date you had answered at least 70% of the exam's questions with Check answer (just viewing the answers doesn't count).
- You completed at least 1 timed practice exam for that exam.
- You send your claim within 14 days of receiving your exam result.
We check the answered questions and practice exams from your account's history, so please practise while logged in.
How to claim
Email contact@examcup.com from the email address of your account, with:
- The exam code and the date you took it.
- Your official score report or result notice (a PDF or a clear photo).
We reply within 2 business days. Once a claim is approved, we refund the original payment through Stripe within 10 business days and end your access to that exam. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
Other refunds
- If you were charged twice for the same exam, we refund the extra payment.
- If a technical problem on our side stops you from using an exam you paid for and we can't fix it, we refund that purchase.
What isn't covered
- Changing your mind after buying, or not taking the exam.
- Exams taken after your access ended, or before you bought access.
- More than one guarantee refund for the same exam.
- Accounts suspended for breaking our Terms of service, for example by sharing them.
This policy doesn't limit any rights you have under consumer law where you live.
